David Cremer

Managing Director

The founder of Cremer Lifts, David is the Managing Director. A dedicated lift engineer with a driving ambition to succeed, his vision and entrepreneurial skills have proven to be the major attributes of his success. He began by manufacturing and installing lifts on his own, traveling the country with a ‘no job too small’ attitude. As demand for the Cremer products increased David began hiring his own staff in order to grow the business further.

Trevor Larsen

General Manager

Trevor comes from P&G Lifts and brings with him 45 years of experience in the Engineering Industry - the last 25 years being in design, manufacture and installation of Custom Built Lifts and Materials Handling Equipment. He has proven to be a valuable asset to our company after settling in to his new role as General Manager of Cremer Lifts Ltd.

Alan Cremer

Sales Manager

Alan has been the Sales Manager at Cremer Lifts for the past 9 years and has amassed extensive knowledge in a wide range of lift products while having worked on a number of residential and commercial projects. Having traveled up and down New Zealand as a Sales Rep for 12 years before coming on board Alan certainly has plenty of sales experience to draw on.

John Maclean

Group Technical Manager

John is one of our most experienced staff members and his dedication and attention to detail has been instrumental in assisting the company to reach its current level of success. His role in the company includes technical co-ordination of the documentation process to ensure the highest quality of information is delivered. An engineer with considerable skills he is a major asset to the company.

Sarah Lowe

Service Coordinator

Sarah is a brilliant multitasker, co-ordinating servicing and maintenance while assisting the Technical Manager and General Manager. Working with clients and contractors to ensure that the highest levels of quality and service are achieved she thrives with the challenges that each new job provides. People love her positive and friendly attitude.

Janine Copeland


Janine has gained a broad range of knowledge since joining Cremer Lifts in October 2015 and enjoys the challenge of a difficult project and sees it as an opportunity to learn and develop further within the company. She has excellent communication skills and believes in building a strong working relationship with clients.

Sam Cremer

Operation & Logistics

With years of experience in the manufacturing and installation within the elevator industry; Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to our design and build department. He has been key to the development and success of many of our custom builds; and his systematic approach to installations has allowed our team to develop to be amongst the best in N.Z.

Sophie Sutherland


Sophie has recently graduated at the top of her class, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management, and since joined the Cremer team. Being here, she has learned a lot and is excited to help use her knowledge to make the customers’ experiences an enjoyable one.
